The in Person meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM by Vice President Dwayne Meanor due to the absence of President Mike McCullough. Dwayne introduced the club officers, Treasurer, Mr. Gary Pennington and Mr. Tom Burleson, Secretary and Newsletter. Dwayne acknowledged all the volunteers and thanked them for their service.

Mini Hunt: We had our first hunt of the year this month. The hunts will start at 6:30 PM prior to the 7:00 PM meeting.

Refreshments: Pizza was provided by the club again this month.

Thank You: Tom Ferrell for helping with the raffles and Dave Franz for handing out the door prize tickets every month.

March’s Club Outing: The outing was held at Kirwan Museum on Kent Island Saturday March 18th.

Upcoming Outings: MIKE RACE SECOND ANNUAL MEMORIAL OPEN HUNT Saturday April 29,2023 Sponsored by Lancaster Research and Recovery Club.

New Business: We are now able to get your 2023 Baltimore County Permits at our meetings.

Volunteers: We are still in need of volunteers for backups for the Board, Secretary and Web Master. Just in case Dwayne Meanor or Tommy Burleson can’t make the meetings.

Presentation: Gary Pennington Went over information on the Minelab Manticore metal detector. Thank you, Gary!

Sad News: We just found out one of our loyal member Alvin (Bud) Lamb has passed away. He will be truly missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Bud’s family has offered some of Bud’s metal detectors to be auctioned off at our monthly meetings. Bud was always one to donate to the club in life and now in death.

Donations: Dale Lassahn donated a Child’s Metal Detector.

New Activities: For 2023 Three scavenger hunts will be conducted, in the months of February, May and October. Brass tokens will be buried by Ed Stratton in February, April and September, and when discovered, traded for coins. Clues for each hunt will only be distributed at our monthly meetings. Congratulations to Evan Werner he found the February token. Clues for the Next Hunt will be given out at the April’s meeting. You need to be present at the meeting for the clues. They won’t be posted on the website.

Next Club Meeting April 27th. Starting at 6:30PM for the Mini Hunt followed by the Meeting at 7:00 PM.
