The in Person meeting was called to order at: 7:04 PM by President, Mike McCullough. Mike introduced the club officers, Vice President, Mr. Dwayne Meanor, Treasurer, Mr. Gary Pennington and Mr. Tom Burleson, Secretary and Newsletter. Mike acknowledged all the volunteers and thanked them for their service.

Mini Hunt: There will not be any Mini Hunts the rest of the year. The Mini Hunts will start again at the March 2024 meeting.

Refreshments: Pizza, Snacks and Drinks were provided by the club again this month.

Thank You: Ed Stratton and Tom Ferrell for helping with the raffles and Dave Franz for handing out the door prize tickets.

Buddy List: This is a list of people needing or giving assistance with their type of Metal Detector. Anyone is interested in joining the Buddy list see Andy Cooper.

Gold and Diamond Testing: See Nathan Pressler if you need something checked out. Testing will be done in March, June, September, and November.

Novembers’ Club Outing: The outing was held on Saturday November 11th at Leakin Park.

Next Month Club Outing: For more details contact Kevin Weis or Dwayne Meanor (Bear)

Presentation: The presentation entitled Tales from Virgina which was about the finds from the Old Dominion and DIV 55 hunts. They were held November 3rd ,4th and 5th. Around 12 of our members attended. Stories were presented by Mike McCullough and several members that attended the hunts. There were displays set up at the meeting. It was very informative and interesting. Thank you, Mike and all that shared their finds.

Upcoming Outings: Digstock #8 2 day hunt December 9th and 10th Cost $175 and Digstock #9 February 23rd - 25th Cost $215. Both events will be in Eastern North Carolina

New Business. With the upcoming Election for the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. This month we heard from the Election Committee that no one was interested in running for office. All of the officers except the President Mike McCullough are willing to continue their offices. We will have the election vote at the December meeting. Thank you to the Election Committee Chris Wisnom, Andy Cooper and Ed Stratton for your hard work.

M.F.S.T.C has a new Facebook group. An invention has been sent out to all members.

Update: Baltimore Parks opened on September 1st

Special Donations: Thank you, Dave Franz, for donating a Whites Metal Detector and the Homemade Mailbox Bank ! The drawings for the Detector and Mailbox Bank will be at the December meeting. Please hold onto your tickets until then and Good Luck!
